Giving

Malachi 3:10     New International Version – UK (NIVUK)

“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this”, says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it”.

Regular Giving

We can all plan our giving back to God.

It means that we set aside a portion of our income on a regular basis.  Some will call this ‘giving of first fruits’ as outlined in both Old and New Testaments.  Many also recognise the need for discipleship.

Those who pay Income Tax can increase the value of their planned giving by completing the Gift Aid Declaration.  Please see the note below.

By completing the regular giving form, you will help the Treasurer plan parish finances.  Please print the form attached, complete it and send it to The Treasurer, Church Office, 6 The Close, North Cadbury, BA22 7DX.

If you are interested in receiving information about leaving a gift in your Will to the church please contact the church office.

Thank you for planning your giving.

NOTE: Please notify the Church Warden / Treasurer if you want to

• cancel your Gift Aid declaration;
• change your name or home address;
• or no longer pay sufficient tax on your income and/or capital gains.

Gift Aid is linked to basic rate tax, currently 20%, which currently allows charities to reclaim 25 pence in the pound.

Higher rate taxpayers can claim back the difference between basic rate and higher rate or additional rate tax.  If you pay Income Tax at the higher or additional rate and want to receive the additional tax relief due to you, you must include all your Gift Aid donations on your Self Assessment tax return or ask HM Revenue and Customs to adjust your tax code.
